- Avoid toxic people – if someone seems like a pain in the ass on first encounters, they probably are. Life is too short to figure everybody out. Stick with the good guys.
- Avoid people that suck all your energy but don't drain all your energy doing so.
- Avoid herd-mentality when it comes to social media, or anything in life. You do not need to be on the latest social media channel, or any of them for that matter.
- Write every day – take notes or journal your thoughts. Improve your skills in one of the most important modes of communication in the modern world

- Spend time in nature. Mitigate the effects of digital overload by exploring the natural world. This will lead to a happy life.
- Be different! Doing what everyone else is doing will not help you live the good life.
- Learn how to be a good conversationalist – only in movies do bad conversationalists succeed.
- Be 100% present when talking to someone – don’t browse the web while they're talking to you. Don’t scroll through Instagram when you should be engaged with the real person on that phone call.
- If you find yourself virtue signalling, stop that shit! Then take a serious look at your values, friends, and how you present your fake life to the world online.
- Don't waste time and energy trying to find your purpose – Nobody was born with a purpose or a passion so you do not need to “find it”. That’s a myth perpetuated by gurus selling courses. Find something you’re good at and try to turn it into something you enjoy and can make money from. Your only purpose is to be a good person.Â
- Try to live like a kid every now and again – have fun, don’t worry about tomorrow, run aimlessly, fall down, go on an adventure, make a sandcastle, or just lie on the grass and look at the trees.Â
- Avoid negative people – needs to be said twice or thrice.
- Diversify your income – just as you wouldn’t put all your money on one number on the roulette. wheel or on a single stock, don’t restrict all of your income to one single point of failure, like a job. Start with a side hustle.

- Read books – listening to an audiobook while you're driving or scrolling through Instagram is not reading, just as you weren't reading when your dad told you bedtime stories.

- Avoid discussing your goals and projects before they are completed. Doing so will make you less inclined to complete them.
- Always be learning.
- Save money when you can an invest. Make your money work for you.
- Don't sweat the small stuff. Try to keep your focus on systems and goals. Everything else is just life and there's not much you can do about it. Roll with the punches
